Show and Storytell With Data From Picture Books and Beyond
Wednesday March 26, 2025 8:10am - 10:50am MST
From graphing the emotion of a character in a picture book over the course of the story to observing how things in natural scientific phenomena change over time, behavior-over-time graphs are great for every subject and for behavior support for students as well. See how 1st grade boys use a causal feedback loop to solve a playground problem. Teachers will leave with a systems thinking toolkit that includes kinesthetic lessons, Habits of a Systems Thinker cards, a Star Wars sound machine, and a picture book of their choice. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to use visual thinking tools with your students.
